The role of information technology in achieving the pillars of lean manufacturing An exploratory study of the opinions of a sample of managers in a number of industrial companies in the governorate of Dohuk

The research aims to identify the role of information technology components in achieving the pillars of lean manufacturing in the companies studied. As resorting to the use of information technology can change the nature of the companies’ work, as it affects the entire production process or may change their production systems in line with contemporary systems, especially the lean manufacturing system, in order for companies to be able to waste or waste all forms of materials or waste . The research community included a number of industrial companies that were selected because they represent industrial companies that have the basic ingredients in order to obtain the required data, while the research sample represented a number of individuals in those companies.
