In their approach to building peace, international forces seek to adopt a set of functions and objectives that are essentially drawn up based on UN resolutions to give legitimacy to their presence in countries, in order to preserve the “principle of territorial integrity,” and to advance the pretext of balance between intervention for the purpose of building peace and maintaining the “principle of territorial integrity.” “Sovereignty of States,” and these functions and objectives vary according to the nature of the role exercised by these forces. In general, these functions and objectives are: supporting, monitoring, maintaining and observing the ceasefire, coordinating verification and verification of compliance with its agreement and separation of forces, supporting the implementation of peace processes and agreements, and disarmament. Ensuring the withdrawal of forces, preventing escalation as a result of isolated incidents, demobilizing and reintegrating the army, supervising the exchange of prisoners through the International Committee of the Red Cross, supporting the border demarcation process, supporting administrative and operational border cooperation, protecting and supporting civilian personnel under direct dangers and threats, and supervising On arms agreements.
Also, to help restore the rule of law, support and maintain order, support and monitor the holding of free, fair, fair and transparent elections, identify eligible voters, and announce the results of stabilization operations, and support the constitutional and political process with the aim of promoting sound democratic governance, good governance, the administration of justice, and the administration of Development and good governance.
