Abstract

The current research aims to reveal the level of application of automation of organizational processes and its dimensions represented by: (interoperability, virtual representation, decentralization, timely response, service orientation, modularity) by surveying the opinions of a sample of leaders in the office of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the government The Kurdistan Region of Iraq, in light of the ongoing and tremendously increasing technological developments and in light of the desire of organizations and governments to accelerate the completion of their jobs and activities, reduce time, and get rid of routine and repetitive activities, a sample of (41) leaders in the ministry under study was selected regarding the research variable and its sub-dimensions. Through an electronic questionnaire form, the data of which was analyzed using (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences - SPSS/V26). The results of the research revealed that automation of organizational processes is being applied to a moderate degree in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which reflects somewhat positive attitudes on the part of the individuals in the research sample regarding increasing interest in automation in the activities and processes of the ministry under investigation and performing tasks in an automated and automated manner. The results also indicated that There is high agreement on the dimensions of (interoperability) and (modularity), which indicates the importance of these two dimensions from the point of view of leaders in the ministry under study. The research presented a number of proposals, the most important of which is that the ministry under study should provide the necessary infrastructure to implement the automation of organizational processes, through Increasing interest in providing modern computers, programs and applications necessary to implement this approach and supporting its activities and functions, and also involving leaders in the ministry under study in training courses in the field of automation and spreading the culture of applying automation of organizational processes in the ministry through seminars, workshops, lectures and scientific conferences to address the importance of This approach and the benefits achieved as a result of its use and application in their field of work and functions. The current research includes four axes, the first is devoted to the research methodology, the second addresses the theoretical framework, while the third axis presents the field aspect, and in the fourth axis the conclusions and proposals are presented.
