Updates on the Iraqi Commercial Agency Regulation Law No. 79 of 2017 (analytical legal study)

The Commercial Agencies have a big role in Economic developing process in the society and creating many job opportunities. Considering political and Economic changes, from Totalitarian and social system to Free Market. Regulation of Commercial Agencies Act had issued accordingly. The Research adopted analyzing methods to study all recent development on Law, types of agencies , rules, goods and commodities, the financial and freedom sanctions ,which clarify the positive aspects in the provisions of the current Law, at the same time, it doesn’t lose sights of the gaps that still exist in Law.
The research concluded that In Kurdistan there is need to review the regulation of Commercial Agencies Act in order to correspond with reality of business agencies in the Kurdistan Region as well as working with the companies’ registered in Bagdad in order to overcome obstacles for working agencies in Kurdistan.
