نبذة مختصرة كانت الاستعارات وتأثيرها داخل اللغات موضوع نقاش واسع بين العلماء. تركز هذه الورقة البحثية على قابليتها للترجمة بالإضافة إلى التحديات التي تفرضها على المترجمين. يمكن أن تصبح الاستعارات مشكلة أثناء الترجمة ، لأنها مرتبطة بطبيعتها بثقافة لغتها المصدر ، مما يجعلها لا معنى لها في لغة أخرى. هناك عدد من الطرق المختلفة التي يمكن من خلالها ترجمة الاستعارات ، مثل ؛ الترجمة الحرفية للاستعارة ، وبالتالي إنشاء استعارة متطابقة ، تسمى الترجمة المباشرة. الاستبدال ، وهو ترجمة استعارة إلى استعارة معدلة عن طريق استبدال الصورة الموجودة في اللغة المصدر بالصورة المجازية التي لها نفس المعنى أو إحساسها الوثيق في اللغة الهدف ، وبالتالي مراعاة ثقافة اللغة الهدف . إعادة الصياغة ، وهي ترجمة معنى الاستعارة ، أو إعادة صياغة استعارة أثناء عملية الترجمة.التنزيلات
