Enjoying life and social complince among the teachers of the universities of the Kurdistan Region / Iraq

The current research aims to identify the level of enjoyment of life and social compliance among the teachers of the universities of the Kurdistan Region, and to identify the significance of the differences in the level of each of the enjoyment of life and social compliance among teachers according to the variables: gender and specialization, as well as the nature of the relationship between the variables of enjoying life and social compliance. The research relied on the descriptive survey method, and the two scales researchers prepared to measure of enjoyment of life and social compliance, and the psychometric properties of the two scales were verified. The randomly selected sample consisted of (545) male and female teachers. After analyzing the data statistically by SPSS, the results showed that the level of enjoyment of life among teachers in the universities of the Kurdistan Region - Iraq is high, while their level of social compliance was low. It was found that there were no statistically significant differences in the enjoyment of life and social compliance due to the gender variable, and there were no significant differences in the enjoyment of life among teachers according to the specialization variable, while the results indicated that there was a significant difference in social compliance due to the specialization variable and in favor of scientific specialization. The results also showed that there is no significant relationship between enjoying life and social compliance. In light of the results, a number of recommendations and proposals were presented.
