Good project planning and its implications for the project An exploratory study of the views of project managers in Dohuk Governorate

The aim of the research is to focus on the advantages of good project planning and its implications for the time period for implementation in the Dohuk Governorate, by identifying the factors that lead to poor planning, as these factors affect the time period for implementation and in order to achieve the goal of the research, the questionnaire form was relied upon and the questionnaire was distributed For a sample of project managers in the Duhok center, the research sample amounted to 60 respondents. The results of the research were the existence of a strategic defect in the contracting companies, which led to the inability to implement the project plan. The two researchers suggested the importance of contracting companies allocating a special unit whose task is to study plans to ensure the success of the project and to control its causes that lead to poor planning because it has a major role in implementing projects on time.
