Abstract

This research deals with the difference between two important schools: (The formal school and the prague circle). The emergence of literary schools and the language provided a well developed service of society in general and the cultural movement in particular. With literary independence, they were trying to study literature as a scientific study. This school was very interested in language and linguistics, especially poetic language, which invited the term literary, while Baraa's linguistics circle was concerved with the linguistics aspect especially the phonological, as language for her is a system of signs, in the field of language, the scholars of this cicle relied on the ideas of the swiss scientist (De Saussure) and in the way, the scholars of this circle directed the formalism towards structuralism and the view of scholars from the two schools and the difference between them.

The researcher(s) preserves all intellectual property rights (except for the one transferred to the publisher under this Agreement).
